Practice Nurse Team

Our qualified nurses have applicable skills in cervical screening, immunisations (including travel), contraceptive and sexual health advice, wound care and other aspects of physical care of patients in general practice.

They are also trained to support the management of long-term conditions such as diabetes, Asthma, COPD, cardiovascular disease and other chronic disease management.

Members of the team are:

Sally Armstrong BSc (Hons), RN, MSc NMC-86Y2575E

Sally trained at Adenbrooks Hospital, Cambridge. She has a special interest in hypertension management. Sally is also our research lead.

Helen Nunan NMC-89J1635E

Helen qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1989 at Charing Cross Hospital and specialised in oncology in The Hammersmith and The Royal Marsden. She obtained a post graduate diploma in cancer nursing and continued in this field until she worked at Meadow House Hospice part time for fourteen years. In the last two years she has passed a six month course in Practice Nursing and has been working part time as a Practice nurse ever since.

Frances Dalton NMC-79H1610E

Frances trained at Guy’s Hospital and has worked in general practice since 1995. She is our diabetes and anticoagulation lead.
