19.3.20 Please do not stockpile medications or request too early. This does not help. We will continue to provide prescriptions when they are due. Even if we have to shut our doors to some, we will continue working.
Repeat prescriptions are medications which appear on the right hand side of your prescription which we would like you to continue on a regular basis.
Requests received before 12noon will be ready for collection or sent to pharmacy after 4pm, two working days later.
How to request a Repeat Prescription
Repeat prescriptions may be ordered in several ways:
You can order your repeat prescriptions via SystmOnline on a computer, ipad or a smartphone APP. The surgery will give you a log in and password to access this if you do not already have one.
Email your name, date of birth and the exact medication you require to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fill in a prescription request form or underline the items needed on the tear-off side of your prescription and drop it into the surgery. Please do not order any medications you do not need.
If a stamped addressed envelope is supplied, your prescription can be returned via Royal Mail. Find our postal address.
The only way we do not accept requests is over the telephone. Experience has shown that this is the least reliable way to request medications so we do not offer this service.
